Mariebelle Timmermans is a member of the Banking & Finance team, where she specializes in loan, acquisition and project finance. She advises (inter)national companies and financial institutions in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Mariebelle graduated (cum laude) in Business Law at Tilburg University in 2020. She joined NautaDutilh in 2021 and was based in the firm’s New York office from March 2021 through February 2022, where she handled cross-border matters involving Dutch corporate law and Dutch law aspects of international finance transactions. Prior to joining the Finance Transactions team, Mariebelle worked for the Financial Law team, where she advised (inter)national companies and financial institutions, such as banks, investment firms, insurers and payment service providers on issues of financial (regulatory) law.

Mariebelle is a board member of Stichting Lequal, a foundation that is dedicated to promoting cultural and intersectional diversity within the legal profession in the Netherlands. Mariebelle was awarded the Upcoming Talent of 2023 Award by Stichting Legal Women Netherlands for her exceptional legal talent and her commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality.

Mariebelle is admitted to the Amsterdam bar.
