Mechteld Flohil is a candidate civil law notary in our Corporate M&A department. She advises companies on a wide range of corporate and financial transactions, including international and multi-jurisdictional restructurings and corporate governance.

She has extensive experience in all aspects of Dutch company law, including (cross-border) mergers and spin-offs, complex capital restructurings, takeovers (de-listings), setting up and reorganisations of holding and financing group structures and joint ventures. She advises corporates, covering a wide variety of industries, and financial institutions.

Prior to joining NautaDutilh, Mechteld worked at international law firms in Amsterdam for many years and also in London for a while. She worked in close cooperation with the Corporate, Regulatory and Banking & Finance teams.

Mechteld holds degrees in civil law (European) and notarial law from the University of Amsterdam since 2006. She completed the Grotius Mergers and Acquisitions postgraduate specialisation course cum laude in 2016.
