Liza Gerritsen

She focuses on the consumer finance practice within NautaDutilh's Structured Finance team. She acted, inter alia, for Qander Consumer Finance B.V. in connection with the Aurorus ABS transactions and their private term transactions and for Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Nederland B.V. and Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank in all their Dutch ABS transactions secured by consumer credit claims.

She is also regularly involved in setting up mortgage platforms and platforms for other types of loans for both banks and non-banks. She acts for both lenders of record, including DMFCO (MUNT Hypotheken) and Dynamic Credit, as well as investors and platform entrants. She also assists parties in securitisations (STS and non-STS) and other secured funding transactions. She has acted for ARA Venn in all Cartesian RMBS transactions since 2012.

Liza is an active member of the legal working group of the Dutch Securitisation Association (DSA), which is committed to drafting standard documentation for Dutch securitisation transactions, among other things, to promote transparency and reduce the complexity of Dutch securitisation transactions. She led the pen in drafting the new standard for Dutch consumer finance ABS transactions, which has been in place since 2017. This working group has resulted in almost all Dutch securitisation transactions and prospectuses using the same definitions and table of contents.
