Work highlights
- Advised Circle Infra Partners and its shareholders on the sale of Circle to Basalt Infrastructure Partners. Circle owns and operates critical shared infrastructure at the Chemelot chemical park in Geleen, a key industrial hub in the Netherlands.
- Advised Aon on the carve-out and sale of Aon's Dutch personal lines brokerage and MGA business to BlackFin Capital Partners, a leading European private equity firm focused on the financial services sector.
- Advised Bencis Capital Partners on the divestment of Kooi European Mobile Security Solutions to IK Parnters. Kooi is a fast-growing, pan-European provider of temporary camera surveillance and early-detection systems.

Qualifications
Before joining the Real Estate & Infrastructure practice group, Michelle was part of the Corporate/M&A team. In this capacity, she was involved in national and cross-border transactions, providing advice and guidance to clients on various corporate law matters. Her responsibilities included conducting due diligence investigations, drafting commercial contracts, and advising on corporate (governance) matters.
Michelle holds a Master's degree in Dutch Law with a specialisation in Commercial and Corporate Law from Maastricht University. Additionally, she earned a Master's degree in International Business Law: Climate Change and Corporations from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, graduating with honours. During her studies, she also spent a semester abroad at Lund University in Sweden. Michelle is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar Association.
