Jeannette Wiers - van Tuijl
Jeannette Wiers-van Tuijl is Director Compliance and leads the NautaDutilh Compliance Office. The Compliance Office provides compliance and integrity related advice to all professionals in the firm and provides risk-based monitoring and reporting thereof. Jeannette maintains the contacts with relevant external stakeholders.
The aim of the Compliance Office as second line of defence is to enhance awareness, countervailing power and protection of the licence to operate whilst helping to achieve the firm's strategic business goals.
Jeannette previously held other leadership roles i.a. in the area of knowledge and innovation management and practised business law in Amsterdam and London.
Jeannette graduated from the University of Amsterdam (Master of Law) and from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Executive Master of Compliance) and qualified as a solicitor in the time that she worked in London.
