In addition to this, Greenspread is also involved in various other projects in order to make companies and/or other institutions in the Netherlands, especially in the public sector, such as municipalities and provinces, more sustainable.
These transactions follow up on the acquisition of a majority stake in Rooftop Energy by NPM Capital last year, in which transaction we were also involved as legal advisor of NPM Capital. Rooftop Energy is a leading company in the field of sustainable solar energy projects in the Netherlands.
As part of the transactions as mentioned above, the key managers of the Rooftop Energy, Greenspread and Solaris Industria have acquired a minority stake in the relevant investment vehicle of NPM Capital N.V. In the coming years, Rooftop Energy, Greenspread and Solaris Industria, together with NPM Capital as major investor, will intensively cooperate to play an important role with the acceleration of the energy transition in the Netherlands. It is a great pleasure that we may contribute to this acceleration from a legal perspective and we hope of course that we can close more (envisaged) deals for NPM in the sustainable energy field during the next year
