Although the ban on discrimination in the workplace is well laid down in law, practice appears to be more unruly.
For instance, the most recent TNO inventory of working conditions in the Netherlands showed that 6% of employees in the past twelve months have been discriminated against while performing work.

And he hopes that by making these problems visible and discussable, a generation will grow up whose sports heroes dare to raise the issue.
