Antoine Laniez and Florence Remouchamps contributed to the latest edition of the Sovereign Immunity Guide by Lexology with a Luxembourg chapter.

"Luxembourg has not codified specific rules on sovereign immunity and does not currently intend to do so" says Antoine. "This reflects Luxembourg’s will to apply customary international law and incorporate a certain degree of flexibility into the concept of sovereign immunity" adds Florence.

The quick reference guide enables side-by-side comparison of local insights into sovereign immunity issues, including in each jurisdiction the concept of sovereign immunity, its legal basis and the role of international treaties.
