Daniël has extensive experience advising on high-profile transactions and reorganisations, including transfer of undertaking matters and consultation processes with works councils and trade unions. He has also worked in our New York office.
Prior to joining NautaDutilh, Daniël worked at the Enterprise Chamber (Ondernemingskamer) of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, where he gained experience in, among other things, disputes involving employee participation bodies.
Chambers & Partners recognises Daniël as 'Up and Coming' and The Legal 500 consistently recognises him as a 'Key Lawyer'.

- Dutch insurer a.s.r. on its EUR 510 million sale of Knab to BAWAG Group AG (the P.S.K. Bank für Arbeit und Wirtschaft und Österreichische Postsparkasse Aktiengesellschaft, BAWAG).

Qualifications
Daniël graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a specialisation in both Corporate Law and Labour Law. While a student, he worked at the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam and at several law firms. Daniël joined NautaDutilh in 2015 and is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar. In addition, he is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN).
