NautaDutilh has appointed Saskia Bijl de Vroe as director Business Development, Marketing & Communications (BMC) as of 1 August 2023. She will be part of the firm's Executive Committee.

Saskia will oversee the firm’s business development and communication strategy and operations. She succeeds Jan Hein Bax, who was NautaDutilh’s BMC director since November 2019. Saskia started her career with the firm in 2006 as a tax lawyer in our Amsterdam office. Between 2011 and 2013, she worked at NautaDutilh’s New York office.

"We are pleased that Saskia takes over the helm of our international BMC team. She will play a key role in our strategic initiatives while continuing to strengthen and support the firm’s commercial impact together with the team - with our clients’ needs always at the centre," says managing partner Lieke van der Velden. “Her track record and ability to contribute to long-standing client relationships make her an excellent fit for this position.”

Managing partner Sjoerd Meijer adds: "Saskia knows our firm like no other. In her previous role, she was co-responsible for our business development and communication strategy. We congratulate her on her appointment and look forward to leading the firm to NautaDutilh’s 300th anniversary in 2024 together."
