On 1 August 2023, Julie De Bonnet joined NautaDutilh as local partner with a view to heading the Real Estate group in Belgium.

Julie's arrival significantly strengthens the firm's Real Estate practice. Her work encompasses all aspects of real estate and construction law, including strategic advisory work, litigating in a variety of real estate related disputes and advising in large real estate transactions, often in the retail sector.

"We are very pleased to have Julie join NautaDutilh as of 1 August," says managing partner Sjoerd Meijer. "Julie is a valuable reinforcement for our real estate team in particular and of course for NautaDutilh as a whole. As a Benelux full-service firm, we are focused on consistently offering our clients a wide range of services at the highest level and delivering the multidisciplinary, pragmatic solutions in complex cases these times call for. Julie's arrival fully ties in with this ambition."

Julie De Bonnet: "The real estate and retail sectors are constantly evolving, with further exciting and challenging developments on the horizon. I look forward to start at NautaDutilh, a leading Benelux firm with a global network, and together with our team and other colleagues, add value for our clients through a multidisciplinary and pragmatic approach to their most complex real estate and construction challenges."

Dirk Van Gerven, managing partner of NautaDutilh's Brussels office: "We are happy that Julie joins us.
