Sophie van Lanschot is a partner and candidate civil-law notary in NautaDutilh’s Corporate M&A team and a core member of the firm’s Private Equity team. She advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, corporates and management teams on private M&A transactions, complex domestic and cross-border restructurings and other corporate matters. Sophie has particular expertise in Management Incentive Plans, advising on the structuring, implementation and ongoing operation of tailored equity participation arrangements. She combines transactional and notarial expertise with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach, supporting clients throughout the investment lifecycle.

Qualifications
Sophie graduated from Utrecht University in 2011 with a degree in notarial law. In 2018, Sophie completed the Mergers & Acquisitions course at the VU Law Academy of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
She joined NautaDutilh in September of 2011. In 2016 and 2017, Sophie was the candidate civil-law notary in residence at NautaDutilh's New York office, where she advised on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance and M&A and finance transactions.
