On 27 September 2020, the UBO register for companies and other legal entities went live. The UBO register is part of the trade register. When registering a newly established entity with the trade register, information about the entity's ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) must be submitted to the UBO register. Existing entities must register their UBOs within 18 months, thus by 27 March 2022.
