Founded in 1991, Citromil and its facilities are located in Santomera (Murcia-area), Spain, the organic garden of Europe. The company is active in the production of direct and concentrate juices, essential oils and other processed products derived from citrus fruits. Products are mainly sourced from local cooperatives directly supplied by farmers. Citromil will continue doing business under its own name and will become part of the Tradin Organic Group.
This acquisition builds on recent acquisitions by Acomo in Sweden and Italy. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close mid-2026.
The team further consisted of Jacqueline Clement, Rosa Jelsma, Bram Veen, Mauve Rosenberg, Nina Kielman, Ash Beesemer, Riemer Meinderts, Belén Gobits, Jasmijn van Koetsveld and Bastiaan Metselaar.
