NautaDutilh has advised longstanding client Virya Energy on the sale of the entire business-to-consumer (B2C) energy supply portfolio of its subsidiary DATS 24, comprising approximately 32,000 customers, to EnergyVision.
The transaction, structured as an asset deal, forms part of a strategic refocus of the Virya group on renewable generation assets, green hydrogen, business energy solutions, EV charging and DATS 24's mobility services.
The NautaDutilh team advised on the negotiation and structuring of the transaction, as well as on the related regulatory aspects. It was led by Nicolas de Crombrugghe (Partner, Corporate/M&A), and further consisted of Philippe François, Vincent Wellens, Stef Feyen, Florence Vanhulle, Matthieu Pierre, Mathijs Van Haver, Jill Van Overbeke, Sigrid Heirbrant, Marie Florival and Alma van der Meulen.
