NautaDutilh advised Acomo, a Euronext Amsterdam-listed diversified, plant-based food ingredients Group, on its acquisition of Cublend B.V., a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality flavor, functional, and vegetable-based blends for the food industry.

The acquisition significantly expands Acomo’s Food Solutions offering by adding expertise in flavor systems, functional ingredient blends and customised formulations. Through Cublend’s combination of advanced blending technology, dedicated in-house R&D capabilities, highly automated production processes and customer-focused service model, it has established a strong reputation as a strategic partner to food manufacturers, enabling customers to accelerate product development, optimise recipes and shorten time-to-market. The acquisition will add approximately 70% to the revenue of the Food Solutions segment.

Our close understanding of Acomo’s business and strategic priorities enabled us to support the team throughout this acquisition process.
